I don't know why, but I would like to meet the man who could do such horrific things and still keep his sanity. Is that a possibility?

I like your stuff. Keep it up. You're the greatest. But, don't tell anyone. They'll think your conceited.

Well I spent today at work battling unhappiness. I was mostly feeling unappreciated at my job I think. It was back and forth all day, giving in and feeling sorry for myself, and then fighting back with scripture, praise and thanksgiving. I recognized that the battle going on in my mind was really about discontentment and that the answer to my struggling was that i needed to be content. I confessed multiple times to the Lord today that I was discontent and wanted help. What a surprise to me that the first article on the sight today is called "Contentment – Key to Happiness". This illustration was exactly what i needed to help me understand WHY contentment is so important to my happiness.

Wow, what a powerful attitude! I think I just may adopt that, if you don't mind. It helps to know that when I think I have it bad, all I have to do is read an article like this and no way is my life anywhere close to what you have experienced. Thank you for sharing your times of problems as it is a good reminder to laugh through things that happen to us so we can "pass the test." God Bless you and keep writing more.

Absolutely "eating up" the teachings! God has been drawing me really close in this past year, and working in me to WILL and to DO of His good pleasure more than ever. Although I've been saved practically my whole life and have always loved the Lord, my walk with Him has been accelerating quicker than ever before. He is working in me, revealing new areas that need attention, and I'm loving it. Your teachings are just sealing things in my heart that He's been showing me, reinforcing new insights, giving me some "aha" moments, inspiring me to keep pressing in to the things of God. Keep up the good work, Uncle David. We want as much as we can get! We need all that wisdom you've gained over the years from both the good and the bad. Just wanted you to know what a blessing you are!
